i did not want a rose gold bedroom!
A little back story to how I came to choose rose gold to be a part of my bedroom theme…
When we first moved into our current flat (which is about 4 years ago now), I was taken by the ‘all grey everything’ vibe that was trending at the time. Now due to my budget, I could not get the ‘must have’ mirrored furniture that I had always wanted. So I settled for white bedroom furniture instead.
Now, this was the turning point to gearing me away from an All Grey Bedroom to a Grey, White and Rose Gold one. The icing on the cake, was when I went shopping at Asda. I came across a lovely cushion that I could not take my eyes off.

I absolutely adored the cushion but was hesitant, because I was not sure if Hubby would be happy having a more feminine themed room. After all he has to sleep in this room too. But I just couldn’t leave it behind, so I brought it! My plan was to style our bedroom nice enough, that he would agree to the new colour palette.

“Did it work?” you might be asking aloud.
Luckily, for me it did! When he came home that day, I showed him the new cushions perfectly displayed on the bed. The table lamps were on to set the atmosphere and to my surprise he never objected. Yass! The new bedroom scheme was approved! LOL.
I am so happy with our bedroom colours. Whenever our bedroom is posted on my Instagram account, most people always comment that they love the colour combination.

Finding Rose Gold Bedding Is Not Easy!
Never did I think that finding a rose gold duvet set would be so difficult. It appeared that Rose Gold was popular for your kitchen, but not for the bedroom.
I found the perfect bed cushions, the perfect decorative accessories, but when it came to finding the perfect Rose Gold bedding, especially one that also incorporated white! The Struggle Was Real!
I visited many stores, to try find bedding that was not too pink to be blush and not too orange to be copper. But I was coming up empty every time. I had pretty much felt as though, what I was looking for didn’t exist until…
One afternoon I dedicated a few hours to intensely search the internet. I just had to find that rose gold bedding which would be the best shade for our bedroom. I know, I know, I am a perfectionist. But I really feel how you combine colours is important. Shades/colours should compliment each other.
Thankfully my search was not in vain, I came across some beautiful bedding sets online. They were perfect options for a bedroom with a rose gold theme. Here is what I found…

This Duvet and Pillowcases are sold separately. The colour of this duvet is described as soft golden. But if the colour is true to the picture, this would be a lovely set for a rose gold bedroom. It features a cream shell design embroidery and border.

which one did I Choose?
I feel these are some lovely options, if you want to incorporate rose gold into our bedroom. You would however have to purchase them to truly see how well they are made. This is what I did.
Out of all of these options, I brought Quartz Rose Gold By Portfolio Home, I just loved the design. It is so beautiful and the perfect Rose Gold colour for our bedroom. I will be writing a full review on this Duvet Set, So look out for this review Next Week!
