Moodboard Theme: All Things Neutral

Hi Everyone! I know, I know it’s been a while. Life kind of took over, but I am back and creating my passion…Moodboards. To kick it all off, I decided to dive into the craze of neutrals. Playing with the colour family of Cream and Beige.

Many may think that focusing on only one colour would make a room feel flat. But depth comes through the shades you use and how you balance them together. I love the warmth of beige. It’s a colour, that for sure can bring impact to a room. Beige on Beige is a popular aesthetic in today’s culture.

Dining Room

Seen as I have only created a dining area once before. I thought this would be a good time to add another one to my portfolio. My favourite item is this room is, definitely the ceiling light. Highstreet Homeware has improved so much, this pendant from Zara Home is stunning. I thought the style was perfect for this scheme. Minimal but intricate at the same time. Leaning into this popular theme of décor being more raw and natural in the materials used, as well as the finished look.

Livingroom

This scheme was definitely formed around the armchair. Its from John Lewis and it caught my eye whilst browsing online one day. I loved the leather frame. The armchair also influenced the use of teak coloured timbers paired with minimal, Japandi style lighting. I accessorised the lounge with cream tones to help create a calming atmosphere.
