As a mum of two girls, I have found it difficult at times to find dolls that look like my little angels. Representation is very important to ensure self-love. When girls see toys, shows, books of characters that look like them, it encourages them to be proud who they are. Also it lets them know they can achieve the careers/roles those characters represent. Something that every child should be able to feel.
