I asked my Insta Family which store, they would like me to create a moodboard for and the majority selected Dunelm. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone a little with these moodboards, so I decided to go for a style that is not close to my home decor.

MODERN FARMHOUSE
On my Instagram stories a lot of people voted for which room I should style. The winning rooms were, a Livingroom and a Entryway. The challenge was now set.
I went straight onto Dunelm’s website to find items that would bring a modern farmhouse design to life. Have look at what I was able to create and let me know your thoughts.

I really enjoyed this challenge, it was nice to create a moodboard that was different to what I would normally select for myself. Finding all items from one store was not easy, especially when I had specific furniture in mind. For example in the Entryway, I would have loved to add a large distressed cement vase with twigs next to the console table. However Dunelm did not stock any. But I suppose that is where the challenge lies, making the best room with what is available.
