It’s that time of year again, where everyone is getting their homes dressed up for the festive season. All the shops are now filled with Christmas décor and many have already put their tree up. So, to help you all in your choices for your theme and nice decorations this year. I have collated some items that I think will look really cute in your homes this Christmas.

[ Side Note: This is literally my first Christmas décor post! Considering my site is mainly interior styling I’m shocked I haven’t done one before ]

The Holidays Are Coming!

GREEN SERENE

Now I am a neutral girl at heart. I think making neutrals your foundation colour when purchasing Christmas decorations, allows you to switch up the accent colour. Incase you decide you no longer want this vibe next year. If I were to add colour to my Christmas styling, it would be green. It is a lovely colour to accent your neutrals. The colour reflects the Christmas tree and green is said to evoke a feeling of abundance and peace.

MONOCHROME

Ok…So although I love black in my home. I don’t personally love black as a Christmas colour. But as many of you follow me and like my monochrome moodboards. I thought it would be good to offer you some décor options, if you want to have a black and white theme for your home this year. I do think too much black might be a little depressing for the season of cheer, but mixing it with lighter colours will be a nice balance.

As For Me...

This year I am not going crazy with the Christmas decorations. Our flat is quite small and too much decorative accessories will just make it feel clustered. Im a touch of Christmas here and there kind of girl, one day when we have a larger home this may change. Never say never. But for all my Christmas lovers, enjoy decking the halls and spreading all the Christmas feels in your home this year. I look forward to seeing everyone trees and homes. Until my next post, Stay Blessed.
